Whole Garden Redesigns
This was a new house with a completely featureless garden. The owner was an artist who was keen to create lots of different views to provide inspiration for her work. She and her husband were keen gardeners and were happy to maintain the planting.
We designed and built a whole garden bursting with features, ensuring there was something exciting and interesting in every direction. The features were planned to give the impression of a long-established garden that had evolved over time, and included a dry stream with bridges, a dilapidated building façade, an old post and rail fence, a gazebo and a roofed corner area with deck. Extensive planting completed our part of the project, with the owner adding her own giraffes to provide the finishing touch.
Row of houses with same front gardens. Brief to create different frontage with more interest and low maintenance shrub planting. Paths reflect different directions you can go - round to garage, to front exit, round to side gate. Design reflects the practical access requirements and shape mirrored with the brick edged planting beds.
